This year the MSc Urbanisation and Development programme introduced for the first time a field trip to London’s East End. On 7 June 2018, a group of students visited Stratford, home to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, to learn about the legacy of the 2012 Olympic games in the local area. This was organised by a group of students with the help of the programme director. A similar London field walk is going to take place in autumn for students starting the programme in the new academic year 2018/19, scheduled to take place in autumn.
