Dr. Hyun Bang Shin, Associate Professor of Geography and Urban Studies, took part in the KOSMOS-Workshop “Universal Gentrification? Conceptional Challenges of Comparative Urbanism” at Humboldt University in Berlin, organised by Dr Andrej Holm.
Hyun, Loretta Lees (University of Leicester), and Ernesto López-Morales (University of Chile, Santiago) kicked off the workshop with a talk about their recent book, Planetary Gentrification (2016, Polity Press). The book talk took place on 14 October from 8:30pm at ‘Pro qm’, Almstadtstraße 48-50, D-10119 Berlin.
