Students in the MSc Urbanisation and Development programme are organising a one-day conference on 2 March 2019, addressing the topics of sustainability, housing, and urban policy. This event is supported by the LSE Student Experience Enhancement Fund.

UD Day is a conference organised by LSE’s Urbanisation and Development Programme on the topics of sustainability, housing, and urban policy.

About this Event

UD Day is organised by students in the MSc Urbanisation and Development Programme, part of LSE’s Department of Geography and Environment. The focus of this conference is sustainability, housing, and urban policy, and it will host professionals from each field.

The purpose of UD Day is to help build knowledge on the topic of urban sustainability while allowing students and staff to engage with professionals who are currently active in the field in various ways.

The morning of the event will consist of invited speakers and a Q & A session. There will then be a catered lunch before workshop sessions in the afternoon. The conference will end with concluding remarks and the opportunity for students, staff, and speakers to network with one another.
