Dr Meredith Whitten, PhD alumna in Regional and Urban Planning and currently ESRC Postdoctoral Fellow, has published a book chapter titled Contesting Longstanding Conceptualisations of Urban Green Space. The chapter explore how our understandings of urban green space remain rooted in Victorian ideals, and is part of an edited volume, Naturally Challenged: Contested Perceptions and Practices in Urban Green Spaces, edited by Nicola Dempsey and Julian Dobson.
