LSE Saw Swee Hock Southeast Asia Centre, directed by Professor Hyun Bang Shin, is to host LSE Southeast Asia Week: Roundtable Discussions between 26 and 30 October.
Daily roundtable events will take place every day at 12 noon, discussing the politics and economics of COVID-19, mobility and migration in the COVID-19, the politics of city-making and environmental resilience in Southeast Asia. In particular, the 28 October roundtable will be on “Whither Southeast Asia research?”, with directors of global Southeast Asia centres and institutes discussing the current constraints and post-COVID future of Southeast research.
