Dr Jeanne Firth, PhD alumna in Human Geography and Urban Studies, has published a new co-authored paper titled “The history of the land: a relational and place-based approach for teaching (more) radical food geographies”. Published in the journal Human Geography, the article discusses land histories in relationship to food and agriculture, and as Jeanne and co-authors state, would “offer the adaptable pedagogical apparatus of the History of the Land as a tool for others to further the generative convergence of food geographies and anti-oppression work.”
