The Department of Geography and Environment has established a new public lecture series, Sylvia Chant Lectures, in memory of late Professor Sylvia Chant.
The first lecture which will be delivered by Professor Naila Kabeer, who is Professor of Gender and Development at the Department of Gender Studies and Department of International Development at LSE
In her talk scheduled for 18 February 2021, Professor Kabeer will use a feminist economic lens to analyse a range of different impacts associated with COVID-19 and to explore the kinds of policies that such a lens would suggest for a more resilient and equitable future.
